White Washed Pine Column

A plinth or column is an ornamental support structure typically found in antique furniture or architecture. It is usually cylindrical in shape and decorated with a variety of designs and motifs. It is typically made of a hardwood such as oak or mahogany and will often have intricate carvings or inlays. The plinth or column is often used as an ornamental pedestal for a statue, bust or other artwork. It can also be used as a structural element in a column or archway. 

This column is unique in that it has a trapezoid inside the base and top with a circle inlay in the center.
